I bought a 21" warden from rio for the same price as ssa. I've talked to him quit a bit since and he's never offered to sell me anything under what ssa is asking.

Hello, I am contacting you about a member of your team David Berger. Goes by baseballz13 on the audio forums, and lives in VA.

Unfortunatley he is contacting people informing them that he can get product for them.

They pay him, and he quits responding to them.

Holds their money, and finally refunds it once he learns that the law will be in contact unless refunded.

He now is costing the companies that "sponsor him" sales, along with making them look bad.

We will be taking legal action now beacuse of this.

I know your not supporting his "behavior". So I am giving you a heads up about his actions.

IMO SSA's prices are ridiculous on pretty much everything they sell. If companies relied on SSA they might go under. Everything i looked at through them was ridiculous to me anyway, whether that is their fault or the companies faults they still seem high as hell.

All prices on SSA are what we are authorized to sell at. ALL OF THEM. We do not go against our brand's wishes, we sell at what we are supposed to sell at. If people have a problem with the pricing they need to take it up with the brands directly, it is not up to us to lower it as we would be breaking dealer agreement, that is what an authorized dealer does.

90% of the time, brick and mortar stores do not sell at MAP, they sell much closer to MSRP (which is much higher).

^Truth. Authorized dealers are restricted by the manufacturers to follow approved pricing. They don't just make up prices out of thin air. These back-dooring distributors on Ebay have spoiled a lot of people and are cutting the local dealers throats in the process. Now everyone thinks they should get the hookup online. I give companies like Sundown Audio a lot of respect for tightly controlling this in an effort to support the dealers as much as possible. Supporting your local dealers means supporting your local economy.

If Rio truly is undercutting other dealers to make a sale then that's seriously foul/shady business.
