wait so the banda 10k outperformed the stetsom 14k in a drop in test or were they completely different systems?

Exactly the same system. Flat drop in with gain set the way it was when it was pulled from a car in Brazil.

To be fair the Stetsom only had 2 burps at that imp. I was so happy with the result I left it alone.

You could also ask HAL, he compared SD12kD against the both amps.
