Well, i was hoping to get my whole system installed this weekend, considering its a 4 day weekend for me, but its pretty **** cold here right now. around 25-35 degrees.

I've heard its not a good idea to apply deadener when its cold. Is that true? i dont wanna get into a situation i dont wanna be in with trying to apply deadener when its effected by weather.

hmm, maybe i'll just go at it with a hair dryer lol. i dunno. its not supposed to get warm anytime soon, and i was going to start running all the wires and stuff until the deadener gets here on monday.

heat gun preferably but a hair dryer will work. asphalt mat sticks a lot better heated, and when it's cold outside, it is necessary
Yes it is quite necessary with an asphalt based mat.

Edit: When I talked to Rick about putting on my Raammat, he said I wouldn't have to heat it up for any of NW Oregon's weather (doesn't get much colder then 20-25 normally)

meh, i dont really have a choice with the weather if i wanna do this anytime soon. its ussually around 30-35, today we had a low of 27. I'll take a hair dryer or find a heat gun just to be safe tho i guess.

Some of the older stuff I used would work much better when warm, but the Raammat I used last time was pretty soft, even when colder. I'll be using that stuff from now on. That's a nice *** avatar by the way....
