it hits nice and clean... pretty much what i wanted

and i think i still can put another 100watts more into the subs.. my guess is that my amp isnt putting out 325watts since hifonics are overrated.. but im happy with it's output right now

not sure when the v3's came out but it wasnt too long ago.. i think its still considered JL's newest sub

how much more power can the V3's handle?

i was thinking about upgrading my amp in the future to a PG 400.1

i know those amps are slightly underrated but could the V3 handle 400rms daily with the gains set correctly?

edit:

seeing how hifonics amps are overrated, im guessing im only putting around 270+rms to the subs...

would 400rms reduce the life span of the sub?

according to that chart, a single 12w3v3 wouldnt mind taking 400wrms.
