Bad sound quality

I just want to install a MTX MXA3002 with single 10 inches 350 RMS Infinity subwoofer.

I completed my installation and it works not perfectly !

I took the signal directly after the stock subwoofer terminal (after Nissan Bose Amplifier). I connected that

into the high level input of MTX MXA3002 without using RCA converter. I get distorsion

with very low frequencies music or as soon that try to increase the base boost or input gain. My stock Bose system base level is setted to max level. Someone told me this distorsion comes from stock AMP and my new AMP just amplify this distorsion. So I tried to use the low level signal before Stock AMP but this signal is not high

enough for the MTX high level input. Probably the best way is to convert this low level signal to RCA signal and connect RCA to MTX AMP. I think that RCA converter need

also a high level signal and also create distorsion 0.3% at 20:1.

Please reply if you have an idea to help me to use that low level input and convert to RCA

It sounds like you need to completely bypass the stock amp and take your signal from the head unit straight to the new amp. I suggest using a line output converter to convert the speaker wire outs from the head unit to rca inputs for your amplifier. Here's a link to an example of a converter.

Make sure you set the gain control on the new amp correctly. You do not want to have the bass boost on the amp or the head unit turned up while setting the gain.

Is the HU signal powerful enough to supply the line output converter and make

it working properly ?

Thanks !
