the other day I was driving and hit a pothole. I had my music blasting so I didnt hear the insanely loud engine/alt whine in my speakers. I already had some engine whine coming out of my rear channel for about a month so I just unplugged the RCA and was running my 4 front speakers. Well now I have no clue Ive checked all my connections.
I switched all of the rca to different spots, ive pulled the splitters from the back of the headunit and just ran 1 channel, I still have the whine. I think its either the RCA input on the amp are bad. Both of my RCA cables are bad or my head unit is bad. Although I have no whine in my sub but im not sure if thats from my lpf.
I have a alpine f300 4 channel for my mids and highs, pioner fh x700bt for my head unit, sundown sax1200d for my mono, I have my speaker wire from the amp spliced into the factory wiring behind the dash, I have nvx splitters running to scosche rca wires, if anyone has any clue i would appreciate it. Im not sure if this makes sense but just ask ill respond asap
