hello everyone. so i am attempting to installing a camera for my truck. the camera comes with a red(+) wire, black/red(-) wire and a yellow RCA connection. the back of my radio in the harness, there is a wire labeled reverse gear signal input purple/white stripe.

i ran the yellow rca to the headunit.

now for a few questions

do i run the red wire to a constant 12 volt?

if i do need a constant 12 volt, where do you suggest splicing into?

black/red will be ground

the purple/white stripe wire, is that the one that needs to be wired to the reverse gear signal AKA the green/white stripe wire?

the truck is a 2012 Nissan Titan crew cab with RF system. headunit is a pioneer avh-x8500bhs

thanks again
