Ok, no picture link in a first post and no editing tools? Well, here is what the post said...
Hello from Destin, Florida. I was involved in car audio from about 1980 with my first aftermarket system, a Panasonic Cockpit in my '65 Mustang with 6x9's in the back. I worked for a few years during college as an installer, mainly building subwoofer boxes, fabrication work with fiberglass, aluminum, and custom wood door panels in luxury cars.
I installed my last system in my own car about 15 years ago. Man, have things changed! I was a huge fan of A/D/S, MB Quart, and Boston speakers, Soundstream Reference and Audio Control System 90 amps, and Nakamichi head units. Now I hear A/D/S is gone, and AudioControl doesn't make amps any more. Friends tell me MB Quart and Soundstream are not what they used to be?
I guess I'm glad I kept most of my last Audio Control stuff and a couple Reference 405's, because the amp in my 07 Jeep JKU is going out and I have the bug to do a complete old school install. Only this set up has to be water resistant and stealth.
I'm sure I'll be asking a lot of questions.....
