going for my first build....

want to try something crazy and totally opposite of what i currently have (9.3 cubes tuned to 28 htz)

i see on Fi's website they say for sealed enclosures you can go as small as 4 cubes.

I am going to give it a try...dimensions are going to be 40(W)x19.5(H)x12(D)

what do you guys think...worth $50 and getting my first try at box building or a waste all together???

$50 for a box you can do yourself the way you want it is better anyday compared to a box 3 times that cost not made the exact way you want it.

yeah...and i guess in the grand scheme of things it will be worth the experience even if it sounds terrible...but if it sounded terrible i dont think it would be under recommended box specs on the website

Idk, I used the free sub box plan website to make my ported box and it sounds great. Was easy to put together but two hands always helps. Where you from in jersey?

are you just building a sealed box because you want to build a box or is there a reason you want a sealed box?

i wanted to see what kind of ouput im going to get compared to the giant of a box its in now...sort of test out both extremes and in the end maybe meet somewhere in the middle...im in Newark DE at school and in Monmouth County NJ when im home
