Right. So no using asphalt. But er, that does raise another curiosity question. How long is it "fresh"? A day or two? I mean if it's on roads and all, it has to kinda thicken up pretty soon...When it's fresh it melts at 185°F.
As for me I ended up going with B-quiet ultimate. They got a very nice price point at $134 shipped for 50 square feet. The cheapest I found dynamat was $145 shipped for only 35 square feet. And I rode in my buddy's camaro with all dynamat and I can't hear a difference between that and my dad's B-quiet Blazer. We strained to hear at highway speeds but it was pretty darn quiet. But both cars have some kind of the foam mat on top of the butyl (if im not mistaken) so once you get to that point there probly is no noticeable difference in any of 'em.
