B&K SPL Meters?

How accurate are these meters? The reason i am wondering is that i just had my setup tested with a gold-line meter that the shop said was calibrated to measure within 1db of the B&K meter. I just want to know if my reading was somewhat accuate and how would it compare to a termlab?

B&Ks are pretty accurate. Last time I saw one used it was .1 off a TL.

I dont see how the gold line could stay as accurate though. I am not to firmiliar with them.

The shop said that they have it calibrated several times a year to measure within 1db of the B&K. I do not know much about it so that is why i am asking.

Can anyone tell me anything else about this topic. Like is my score accurate? If not how far off is it? Estimate!
