AWD and Forced Induction Cars?

I'd say pick up a 99 eclipse gsx or talon for under 5 grand. Spend 3000 on the engine and you've got a 400 horse power car for under 8k...

335xi. My buddy has a 335i with the bi-turbo and that car is pretty quick. I could imagine it if had all wheel drive it'd be just that much better, assuming it doesn't weigh a much more than the 335i.

great car but probably more than he wants to spend. my friend has a 08 evo modded. quick as fuck.

You can make one of these very fast for your price. 2.3l stroker with a gt35r turbo

And just keep dropping money after money into them when they constantly break down. I'd rather have a car that was high in parts and didnt break down that often than one thats cheap and you have to be under the hood every weekend bc something else is going wrong.

So you bought a Jeep? lol. If yours is anything like mine, there's always something small, stupid, and generally cheap that needs to be fixed on there.

Every car is gonna have stuff that breaks when you drive it like a dragster.. Which I'm sure he plans on...
Nothing breaks like a dsm. If you've remotely been around them at all you'll know.

haha.. us jeep guys cant talk about repairs
Yeahhhhhh, I had a 97 GC and I loved it so I got this one. Currently the passenger heated seat doesnt work, the blend doors on the passenger side are broke so it only blows cold, and both my rear windows are off track. Thats just a few of em I got now lol.

As others have said, nix the older Audis. My buddy had an 01 S4 that he special ordered brand new, and in the first year the climate control unit (all digital, basically the whole center stack) went out three times. Of course they were replaced under warranty, but each time it would've been $1200. Just to give you an idea....He traded it after less than a year for a new Mustang GT, for fear of replacing parts after the warranty was over.

Those blend doors are a bitch. I bet you have the auto climate control since yours is a limited. Those are expensive and difficult to fix. If mine should ever go out, it's fairly easy to get to and the part is only like $30 shipped to permanently fix it. I believe you have to remove your glove box and cut to get to it.

AWD is overrated. My friends and I would take his BMW ZHP to Jackson Hole with only snow tires and do JUST FINE. Thats driving from Seattle! We would cross over 5 passes on the way. Never had a problem. To me, if you like the sound of understeer, you are looking at the right cars. If you want performance, get a BMW. You are not going to get a 335xi for that kind of money. Get a ZHP and put a supercharger on it. DONT BUY a S4. Better have a DEEEEEEP pockets if you do.

One of my best friends owns a talon awd turbo.. I've never seen him break down once. He's constantly adding after market parts and drives it like the car it is. I've always heard that DSM's are always breaking just never seen it. I guess compared to a honda or toyota they break a lot but then again chevy's look unreliable compared to a honda

Yeah, the whole dash has to come off to fix them. But my heater core is going out too so ya know its gotta be done anyways.
