AWD and Forced Induction Cars?

A tad more is an under statement... My GF sister owns an Audi and just to get the oil changed was 100 bucks... just to get a new key for her moms BMW was well over 100 bucks
Changing your own oil FTW! save you about 80 bucks

If you want different....look for a Mitsu VR4' date=' or a Dodge Stealth RT/TT. Same car really, the mitsu just has a few more interior gadgets. Both awd and both TT. Nice looking too.[/quote']
not to mention they are heavy as fuck. not a good hp/weight ratio.

There is lots you can do to reduce weight. And heavier in the snow season is a good thing,

And if you want a better weight/hp ratio......crank up the boost. Plus they can be had for cheap, look **** nice, and leaves ya cash for getting er done.

Screw the stealt or 3kgt find yourself a gallant vr4 super sleeper mode, but my choice still falls to the s4 if your up for a drive there's like 5 forsale (even the rare imola yellow) for around 10k near me

I still love the Evos man. Hard to pass up for what you can get an Evo8 for these days. I had one for a while, still regret selling it. I have owned a few STIs as well, but even with various upgrades I was just never that impressed with them.

Forget the Evo X, go 8/9 if you want performance. Spend a g or two on it depending on what parts it already has, get tuned and have around 350whp, run E85 and you will be 400+whp, all on a daily drivable street car, stock turbo; source. On the east coast look for a Buscher car. The Evo (8/9) has awesome seats but that's about it, you want anything else (vanity mirror lights, cruise control, stock nav/auto climate control, power seats, leather aux power sockets, bluetooth) look elsewhere. The Evo X, Audi, Mazdaspeed3 have more creature comforts then the 8/9 but give up the performance edge IMO. The Evo is not a quiet car, some even come without sound deadening, a/c, power windows and stereo, the RS is meant to be turned into a track car. The Evo pops, squeaks, rattles, vibrates, groans and the brakes squeal like a g/d city bus but it goes through the canyons like nothing else. It is a true enthusiast car, almost no compromises and not audio friendly, 90 amp alt btw and a ***** to change out!

Just trying to give some insight to the Evo, 100k on mine so far and it still makes my heart smile every time I start it up. Good luck with your search, driving a car that you love is a great experience.

You should've just bought an R32, then installed your own forced induction.

I love the way those Golfs look.

As for AWD with forced induction, considering you've got a GTI now, I don't think you'll appreciate going to something like a Dodge Stealth. I also don't think you'd like going to an Audi, or even a BMW for that matter. They have the same problem your VW has. They're high maintenance, and costly to boot. I suggest getting something like an Infiniti G35x, for ~$15-$17k, then supercharging it.

They're pretty luxurious on the inside, and they're completely different than any other forced induction car talked about in this thread.

i dont really think there is beating the evo when it comes to this...the x is pretty inside and top gears testing it slaughtered the STI....but the 9 is always where my heart will be...

or if u can find one for a good price why not the audi TTS(they are like 40k new)

Don't get a B5 S4...Although they are sweet looking and easy to mod, they are also some of the most unreliable Audi's ever made. That car will **** every penny it can out of you. The C4 S4 (technically an S6) is MUCH more reliable, although mine hasn't really proven that statement lol. I'm just bad luck when it comes to cars...

I would definitely turbo an R32 if I were you...you are very much like me, meaning you love European cars, AWD, and turbo's.

Check out some Subaru Legacy 2.5GT's or Spec. B's and Audi Allroad's.
