Avionoxx 2400

Hello,

we'll heres the deal

my brother who is sponsored is getting me two of these amps for 300$ each

so i will be buying two totaling, 600$

is it worth it? he told me they usualy cost around 1200$, he is sponsored and gets audio equipment for free,

im getting two 12w7's

for 270$ each brand new,

is the amp gona be able to power it?

and does any one know the actual RMS of that avionoxx 2400 amp?

Right but they could be 400RMS ya get what im saying,

im surprised no one knows the true RMS of the 2400 amp,

anyways can someone link me a amp that will give a W7 PLENTY of power for 300$?

i will be buying two amps, one to each 12

thanks guys

nm i called the company up, 900RMS@2ohm, 1300RMS@1ohm

Soooo if i got two 12w7's

i would need to get them 4ohm DVC for them to run at 2ohm right?

cause the technician i was talking too said i cant do 1ohm since my electrical system is stock and im getting two amps,

he said if i got two subs at 2ohm DVC they would be running at 1ohm

which is bad

so he said get 4ohm dvc so they run at 2ohm

that's actually pretty good advice. But you could always upgrade your electrical system and run the amps at 1ohm.

ok thanks guys, and the speakers im getting their 3ohm DVC so if i run them paraellel its gone be 1.5ohm which is perfect for two batteries, my question is how hard is it to add a extra battery to your vehicle

Oh ok so i can just connect the subs for a 1.5 ohm load? so basicaly the same thing ok thanks,

i will have one amp to each sub btw if that changes anything

that means each of your amps will be pushing each sub at 3 ohms....you need one single amp to run the subs together if you want that 1.5 ohms bro. UNLESS the amps are strappable, then its doable....hope that helps

With one amplifier on each sub, each amplifier would be running at 3ohms.

You would be sending less than 900w to each subwoofer, going by the specs you posted.
