Avic-n2/Avic-d1 worth it?

I'm looking for a good navi system for my car and I've had my eye on the avic-n2 and the avic-d1 but im trying to find out if they are worth the price. I can get each one for around $$1000-1100$$ so Im wondering if they are worth the price. Or if there is a better unit for cheaper or same price.

dude, the money would be flying out of my pocket for that price... on the n2... at least... d1 probably as well...

only thing w/ the d1 is that u can't play dvd's in it, have to get teh xternal...

D1 under $1g. D1 doesn't play DVD's but installed cleanly looks ****ing pimp.

with the d1 do u know if a ps2 could be hooked up easliy or would i have to get an adapter?

i think they have RCA inputs, but i am not positive

They do have RCA inputs. You can use a back up camera too, just like on the N2
