Eclipse 8454?

I went down to the local store which is going out of business..i saw the Eclipse 8454 for $240.00 or so... I was wondering if I should get it? Whats everyones experience with it.. Any one have the full specs on it? I saw it had 8v preout which was nice..but the only thing is the only one left may be the display (which means it will be even cheaper then 240) so anyways im going back there in a little to see wut i can do..thanks

It's a really nice deck and that's a good price, I'd grab it up if I were you, if it's a demo just make sure it works before you walk out of the store with it.

8454 is an excellent deck. i have 8455 which is the top of line over 2005 and 8454 is top of line of 2004. virtually the same deck and the 8455 is an awesome deck. for that price i'd pick it up.

wow im glad its a good headunit..yup im going back there in a few hours to grab it..its the only one left.. and the display..however my friend works there and said its never had power ran to it..its just on display (im going to have them run power to it to see if it works fine,etc) but it looks fine, no scratches or anything..so im getting the display + everything else it comes with (remote,etc) and even the full warranty through eclipse for $242 + tax.. no misprint

You are buying a high end eclipse, and you are interested in how the internal amp is rated? It is 8V, loaded with features, and, since it is an Eclipse, will sound amazing. Eclipse has never rated a deck as 50x4 afaik. My guess is it is rated between 17-22/channel, but you should be amping your speakers anyway.

wow..so i go into the store and i tell the guy alright ill take 8454..so hes about to ring me up and he goes..why dont u just take that 8445 brand new in box..i was like id love to but its like $450 bucks..hes like no man ill hook u up..he grabs the 8445 takes it out of the box (brand new) puts it in a bag, rings me up as the 8454, so my total is like $260, and then i slipped him like 40 bucks..so i just got a eclipse 8445 for $300 brand new.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I think the 8454 is much more flexible than the 8445, but if you don't need the added flexibility, you will be just fine. Either way, you got a helluva deal.

yeah i just couldnt pass it up..brand new compared to the display model..and if its basically the same specs..
