Avic D3 or others active?

This probably sounds like a dumb question but I'm kind of a noob when it comes to active. So can the d3 go active, because that's what I have right now. If so, what else if anything would need to be purchased? If not, are there any double din head units that run active and have navi? Thanks, and again sorry if its a dumb question!
