If you have enough to where you're not discharging them too low and putting a lot of strain on them.OK so you think 5 years is possible or no??????
They are on the new website...kinetik no longer shows the HC16v batts for sale if that tells you anything.
DOH! i'm an idiot....They are on the new website...http://www.kinetikaudio.com/2009/product.asp?C=1&P=KHC16V
When I worked at Kinetik 2005-2006 just before the 3 posts were released I sold 5 of them pre order to be used in a daily set up and so far they are working good. I didn't go over telling him how to install them (as I was no longer at kinetik) but they hooked up all the 12v posts together and the 16v posts together and all is well still. Has not been 5 years yet but he was one of the first to get them and iirc turbo start has not back in bizz for very long and xs 16v batteries have not been out 5 years either. 16v 3 post vbattery now has a 2 year warranty all the rest have 1 year that i know of.DOH! i'm an idiot....
wired up correctly, that means connecting the 12v as well as the 16v i don't know if they'ed even last 5 years.
you would know more than me. i used to have the 2400 bank and loved it but only wired it for 16v for an occasional comp. I didn't keep my HC16v batts long enough to give a definitive answer on them either. I ran powermaster for a bit, but now I'm back with Kinetik 2400s.When I worked at Kinetik 2005-2006 just before the 3 posts were released I sold 5 of them pre order to be used in a daily set up and so far they are working good.
