It was this announcement I was waiting for though your entire thread, my life is now complete.

I believe I missed why you couldnt use that other box...

it was still hitting the drainage system along the bed rails

and

the power wire i got is WAY thicker than i expected and couldnt run it where i wanted it.

it was easier to build a new box rather the put more holes in the truck
