auxillary vs bluetooth

Have a deh80-prs by pioneer, im about to upgrade phones and have a few questions about source inputs. With my old android phone I had no usb support for so I always used bluetooth for pandora and my ipod through usb. Switched to an iphone 5 and now have pandora and music through usb which is great but I lost the bluetooth calling. Tried multiple android phones, a iphone 5c and 6 and they work fine on bluetooth calling. Trying to make up my mind between android or apple for my upgrade so i can get back to using bluetooth calling. Needing to know how the audio quality would be using the auxiliary input with an android phone? How does auxiliary compare to usb? Never was much of an iphone guy but not wanting to sacrifice audio quality by choosing the wrong phone for my needs if you know what I mean.

Being pioneer is more iphone friendly I should probably go with a new iphone for usb compatibility then. I dont like the idea of sub par audio quality. Ill leave the bluetooth for phone calls only //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Not interested in using 3rd party apps or any additional software. The deh80-prs has great dac converters and would hate to send them anything but clean unaltered music.

Leaning towards a new iphone 6 or 6plus.
