Autotek vs Pioneer

Hey guys,

Im looking at buying some 6.5" speakers for my currently non existent front stage. I have a chance to get some pioneer premier speakers, or some autotek ones. I have never heard of autotek before, which do you think I will be better with?

i would go with the pioneers, i love the premier line, but if you dont have enough power for them then dont waste your time even getting good mids..

go pioneer premier all the way......ive never heard of autotek but im sure premier will sound far better then autotek ....i have a pair of pioneer 6.5 " and they sound great

im w/ james(jmac) on this one......listen to them first if u can......much like mb quart some titanium or metal tweets can sound quite harsh depending on your listening taste......

Where did you get the idea to buy Autotek speakers?
Not saying they're bad or good as I've never had any experience with them...listen to them if you can...

I've listened to some autotek 6.5" I liked them alot nice bass and pretty good highs, I have never listened to the Pioneer's though so I couldn't tell you which is better. autotek has been around for a long time though, and they recently bought MBQuart.

While Autotek looks good on paper, it's really bottom of the barrel stuff. Pioneer will be better.

I realize they bought Quart, but it's still a totally different line of goods.
