i have a sx 1200 x autotek sub amp now,and i love it ,real strong.but im looking at the autotek mx5000,if it does as good as its little brother should be a bad boy.my question is if u had a choice between a mx5000,or a soundstream picasso pca 2000d,wat would u prefer.

Both amps use to be bada$$. I had an Autotek 44 (all you old guys know this amp) and it pushed my subs just fine. Said it had 44 watts per channel but was really 3 times that. Soundstream has gone down hill since Circuit City offered to carry their brand and then backed out sending soundstream into bankrupcy. They came back and their stuff hasn't been that good ever since. Having said that, if I had a choice, I'd probably go with Autotek.

When I buy audio equipment, I only buy the best. Gotta Phoenix Gold ZX475 ti and a Memphis 1000D right now. Not top top of the line, but good stuff for sure.

Having been a dealer of both, I'd go with the MX5000, especially if I was needing something that can handle low impedence levels. Not to metion the fact that the all black finish with the gold logo (OHHHH 6!) is just a fantastic look......//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif :D //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

IIRC you can also ask "80" here on the forum about that amp because I think he ran several of them in his setup
