Project: F350 begins...
Im doing a front end clip conversion on my f350, changing to the 2007 front end.

Anyways, i need to get a bumper valence painted to match my truck.... the cheapest quote i found was $165, next best $202, next best $265..... For a bumper valence. This seems expensive to me, but then again i've never had anything on a truck painted.

Here is what the valence thing looks like, its the piece between the top of the bumper and the bottom of the grill:

190 for that tiny *** strip?? But I had my front bumper, rear, painted to match my car when i got new ones for around 500 ish i guess they say its super hard to match it because colors fade and what not..

I think they will paint a whole car for less than your lowest quote. lol.Good luck.
I thought about painting it myself since its just a plastic piece, but i want it nice and glossy to match the paint.

I guess i might as well pay to have it done right...

im guessing the valence has a texture to it. If they are going to sand it so that it is smooth, not just scuffed to paint those prices are very good. Just know that if it is not sanded smooth you will probably be painting the valence every couple years.

the valence is already smooth, it looks just like vehicle paint on metal
ah surprising. the valences on chevys all have a texture to them that do not like being painted. If you color on your truck was a common color, black, white red etc you could just rattle can it since its such a small piece.
