audison lrx overheat? 900w at 1ohm

dont know if i should run my idmax at 900w at 1ohm. will this reduce the life or cause damage to my amp?

i will be listening about 3 hours a day.

what can i do to prevent overheating? 650w at 2ohms??

The amp is made to run @ 1 ohm. As long as you don't put the amp in sealed off amp rack and have the gains set right so it isn't clipping, it will be fine.

i actually just started my own thread on this, my audison is overheating.

my srx1 got really hot as well but never thermal shutdown.

Only about 5 deg off.

they must know they do that's why they make fans you can buy seperate for their amps.
