amp overheating

ok, for a few weeks now i've been using an audison lrx 400.1 hooked up at 1 ohm to a 12" idmax d2 v3, ssf is off, hpf is off, lpf is set at about 79 hz, and the gain is about half way. everything was great until i hooked up my cdt components, front and rear, to a pg xenon 200.4 which i'm not too fond of. ever since i hooked the components up to the pg my audison overheats all the time now after about 10-15 minutes of play, gets really hot.

anybody know why and how i can fix this? talk about annoying. thanks.

how do you have both of them wired? distribution block? and what size wire are you running?

yes, i have 0 gauge going from the battery to the distro block, then 4 gauge from the block to the amps.

How's your ground? Sounds like you're getting a voltage drop causing the Audison to draw more current than it wants to.
