Audison AP8.9 bit Or audio control D-6.1200

I am having trouble deciding. I currently have a factory 9 speaker system with a sub. Has been disconnected and I have 2 rockford fosgate amps and subs. I plan to slowly upgrade the factory system. I have not purchased after market speakers yet.

I am working on a mount to hold my current amps and the future amp.

I do have a question that might help with my decision. I have a factory amp. Do I need to connect to the factory harness prior to the amp or after the amp?

The audison amp seems nice because it is an 8 channel amp. The audio control is more powerful but not sure I need the extra power.
