audioque hdc315 issue?

i got my hdc315 subs in and opened them up. i ordered the dual 1ohm versions....when i tested the coils the first sub read 1.7 and the other sub read 1.4. Has anyone else had this issue? i'm giving them a call when they open a lil later.

Give it a little power and take another reading. Also, what does your DMM say when you touch the leads together? How old are the batteries?

Yes, touch the leads together. The DMM has resistance itself. My DMM has been way off before :0

my DMM reads 9 ohms on 8 ohms of resistance, and 3 ohms on a 2 ohm VC. Theyre not that accurate. And it reads 0 when I touch the leads together.

it was my dmm. i had even tested some home audio speakers and they read correctly which was why there was concern. I guess the home speakers are off...which means i ran the MA Audio hk802sx at .5ohm....
