Great camera huh? My amp is rated 1600 @ 1 ohm. I'm running it at .75 ohms (well theoretically speaking), so assuming the resistance and output are proportional, I would guestimate closer to 1800w.

i dont see you gaing 200w from dropping the imp. by .25 ohm

but yeah is a good lil cam, i got mine from broadwayphoto or somthin with the 4 AA batts and charger and 128mb card for like 266 i think

I don't think you understood me. I said assuming the resistance and output are proportional, output would be 1700-1800w, closer to 1800.

1000 @ 2ohm

1600 @ 1 ohm

Difference of 600w per ohm. 600/4 = 150 per .25 ohm. 1600 + 150 = 1750. Round and that's 1800.

Of course we all know that's not going to happen, but theoretically speaking (like I said before), it could be that.

I've yet to have the chance to hear a set of HD3s. It seems that they sound good enough for daily usage, would everyone agree?

I have my subs turned way down 99% of the time, but sometimes I just want to be really loud.

I'm thinking about getting 2 15's, would 3000 watts split between the two be okay, or are they power hogs?

Well, that would actually be kind of temporary.

I've got one 20.1, and I may pick up another here in a few weeks, when I can find a good deal on one. I'm in the process of buying a house, so I can't throw money around currently.

They don't need much power to get loud, if you have a good box. I blew up my good amps a while back, so I had to come up with a temporary setup to chase points with. In my street C setup, I hit a 148.9 with an old 400 watt amp running two 15's. That's not a bs score either. Check my dB Drags stats page.......Gold Exchange at Springfield, MO.
