help me make up my mind guys. should i go with a dd m4 or a cendo 5500? i have 2 aq hdc4 18s right now running at 1 ohm and im looking for more power than this to get them movin. i have 3 xs d3400s and a mechman 270a alt. im not really looking to by more batts or another alt right now. if i had to do anything electrical it would be buying another batt, max. what would be the best amp to get?

Bro, stick with what you have. There wouldn't be a big noticable difference. Plus it's just not worth the trouble.
That's what I'm leanin towards more and more. What I have is paid for and set up. I'm thinking about just keeping it right now. Maybe take a 5500 if a steal comes around.

The m4 will not do more than the aq people clamp 4100+ puta that around 13v

should just get the m4a, just get an extra battery and call it a day. pwk designs (cant rem his name) has only 1 battcap 4000 and a battcap3000 up front on a single alt and runs its with almost no volt. drop. there really effic. amp as long as you dont let it drop below like 11.5v your golden...

Keep in mind those batcaps are the best batteries in the business right now. Those 4k's cost like 600 new

Damm are they that high??? Jeez, they are proud of those huh
They're worth it. I've been using the batcap 2k as a starter batt and it's like half the size that my battery holder can fit. Voltage is way better than when I had a stock battery in there and it doesn't have a problem starting up my suv when it's below zero out. They may be pricey but they're worth every penny imo

Are there any comparables out there to these? I mean obviously there is nothing thats hte exact same, but my local sams club has 55ah Duracell AGM batteries for 79 bucks a piece. I was thinking 1 under the hood and 2 in the trunk, thats 3 batteries totaling 165 ah for about 240 bucks. Do you think these will be decent batteriis?? The east penn battery company makes them. Same makers of the "Deka" batteries and a few others as well.. Not going the cheap route, but i just spent 315 on a 320a alt from tenney alts and now i need a few batts for a reasonable price. The only batteries I would buy from a store are Diehard Platinum batteries from sears. The P-2 battery (group 34 iirc) costs like $220 picked up and it has some nice specs. Keep in mind AH isn't everything, there's a lot more that goes into a battery than just its AH spec.
