1.4 IS 2 ohms, and no, u are not getting 1500w, ... ur not even gettin 1300w.
When you play music, there is a phrase called impedance curve. The actual resistance the amp sees varies by EVERY frequency that is played through your speaker(s). The amp will NEVER see anything at or below 2.0 ohms.
the 1.4 that you see is the DC reading of the coil. The reason it is rated for 2 ohms is because during playback, the rise in resistance is guaranteed to never drop below 2 ohms making it capable to be ran on a 2ohm stable load.
I've seen 2 ohm rated subs down to 1.2 ohms.
People get this confused ALL the time.
Like when an amp is 1 ohm stable, i see people ask if they can run there sub on it because it's 0.7 ohms.... That's a 1 ohm load....
It's not difficult at all, it's very simple actually, it's just people confuse DC with AC and make it a LOT more complicated than what it really is.
Your typical resistance you would see at 1.4 ohms can vary between typical loads of 2.5 - 8 ohms.
