Audiopulse axis tinging sound....grrr

Well my buddy calls me and after about 3 weeks of using his axis off a RF 10001, today he said he started to here some tinging at a higher frequency sounding like clipping. Ampd and box are all tuned correctly...wtf

you can push on the cone too and it sounds ok...hmm I'm waitin for him to take the sub out and read the coils

He shut everything off with his car in a parkin lot, ran it for a bit with his ear next to the sub and it sounded fine. He got on the highway and it still sounded fine. He said after the sub did it the first time he said his cd player started actin up...I'm guessing a bad ground and dirty power at the time...He's goin to check his grounds
