Audiopipe = $h!t

Anyone care to clamp an Audiopipe in addition to using an oscilloscope to show us how clean or dirty the power is? I'll even be nice and let you use dummy loads with a 40 Hz test tone.

audiopipe amps are great for the money, rock solid and make rated power.

i have installed a ton of them only had 1 blow in many yrs cause customers voltage went to 20v when reg went.

there subs really arent bad eather.

nobody that has owned it will bash it thats 4 sure...

i say this about ma audiobahn and get flammeddddd

I've owned Audiopipe's subs...and they ****

mine clamped 3256w at just under 300amps with 13.7v so I am happy with it. And This was not clamped in the car It was taken to work where we test amplifiers for out airplanes ICS
I'm sorry but that is bullshit..

Not only is that about 400 watts more than it can do but the efficiency is to high as well..

Clamp tests are already out there.

Termpro has one showing the 3000D doing 2637@12.2v @1 ohm nominal.

SMD:

Car Off
Voltage Amperage Wattage

DC 11.64 136 1583

AC 96 14.6 1401.6

Impedance Rise of 6.57Ω.

88.5% Efficiency

Car On

Voltage Amperage Wattage

DC 12.48 143.4 1785.8

AC 102.4 14.5 1484.8

Impedance Rise of 7.06Ω

83% Efficiency

Let me state some things here.

I did a total of four burps per chart you see there.

I had to look at each meter individually since none of them had a peak hold function.

These were averages not peaks.

I did the car on test after slamming on it for a few minutes so my charging voltage was relatively low.

If I could get box rise down, I have no doubts of this amp doing rated power @ 14.4v.

It's rated 2000w @ 4Ω, and I'm assuming 14.4v rated.

It just put up **** near 1500w @ 7Ω @ 12.5v....

Ill leave it at that.

i have owned a audiobahn amp and it ****** , owned a broken MA that was HUGE!! , chrome with power meters , i decided to take it apart and it was UBER-LAME inside , audiopipe.........my buddy owned a AP1500 and it seriously wanged his single 12" PA MOFO V.1 , he went up to the AP1800 and blew the sub. I do believe they do rated , but at very high THD's , i'm sure if you scoped them at .1 or even .5% that do nowhere near rated power.

you guys dont even have a clue what ur talking about when you say dirty power, lol. it makes you sound inexperienced big time.

blind swap test between the ap and another class d you wont be able to tell the diff.

you are the same kinda people that yrs ago said 15s and 18s were sloppy, lol. listen to too much hype and hating too much...
