If companies that make amps would provide a GPS locator inside them incase some douche bags decide to steal it.
You realize there is a FULL TIME 12V wire hooked to your amp right?Well, looking around, it would cost me about 150 to install one my self. But keeping power to it is the problem... Figured setting one up in an amp would be the best if the capacitors would hold a few days charge. But it would need to be engineered to do something like that.
lol, probably. Insurance has been working pretty good for me, guess some people haven't discovered it yet.I think he means when the amp is not hooked up. The locator could be powered by a small lithium battery. I guess for big money amps this could be worthwhile. Speaking from experience, cops don't really seem to put a lot of effort into vehicle burglary and theft, you would have to pretty much tell them who it was and where they are.
