Why don't you just pick up a phone and call Audiopipes technical staff and ask them ? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

I appreciate it, as I was trying to be helpful, op is just a stupid faggot;)

I really did not need to check if it was a gain knob or not, because when I did use it, I had the same results as a few on here. You turn it all the way down and you have no power to the subs, turn it all the way up and you have however much power you set the gain on the amp at. I cannot reiterate enough the Op is a stupid faggot:fyi:

You guys make me want to ditch the forum... such a waste of good internetz. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

The bass control is a logarithmic potentiometer, wired to the input signal... meaning a gain knob.

At 0 - heavy attenuation ~ 1%

1/4 - some signal allowed ~ 50%

1/2 - most signal allowed ~ 80%

3/4 - almost all signal allowed ~ 95%

1 - 100% of input signal passes

The attenuated signal is then passed through the "gain knob", modifying it's level again.
