Kicker Amps?

So does anyone like kicker amps?? runnin a zx1500 to da lows and Im in the market for a new amp for my highs...Im pushin 2 sets of Infinity Kappa components and I like to stay matchin so either get a zx 850.4 which will put out abt 215 x 4 @ 2ohm (in theory) or get 2 new amps...anyone ....anyone...

I havent had a prob with them being hot...I like putting fans on everything I got tho...

hmm, i personally have never had any luck with any of the kicker amps i have owned. my first one somebody stole, my second one i fried(my fault) and the third one just went bad one night.

If you like Kicker try an old school Kicker ZR1000 or XS100...much cleaner sound and way better built.....

I've owned multiple kicker amps. They are over all very nice amps. They just dont really make anything very efficent nor very powerful.

a good alternative power source for a 2 ohm final load but boner or not zenon amps are more effiecient than kicker amps the sundown 1500d i own puts the zx1500 i owned before to shame

They are decent amps. I like my kicker amps i used to own they put out good power not over rated

well the amp Im thinkin about will be a 4 channel. My zx1500 gives out good stuff, no complaints but I currently have a RF pushin my highs and it sounds like it doesnt push my kappas like I would like.. I want to make sure what I get will make em SINNNGGGG

really and how so, cause from talking to kicker reps who tested this amp, the zx1500.1 puts out more power and is just as efficient if not more than the saz 1500. I like the zx1500.1 cause its efficient. At 1 ohm the kicker puts out 2300+ watts but is not as efficient as it is at 2 ohms. The basically put out around the same power but at different ohm loads and i highly doubt you will hear a difference in sq. I believe you're suffering from the placebo effect my friend. Gotta justify buying the sundown i guess:crap:

werd...my kicker puts out much knuts...I am patiently waitin for my dc lvl 3 15 to come soo I can start build my box and start pissing off my neighborz....haha but still I need a new amp for my highs.. I like da crisp tight high but I like it loud...

I like them had the zx1500. I just hate the 2 ohm load, which makes you limited on subs. Then if you decide to keep the subs, finding a high rms amp @ 2 ohms is a bish
