Audiobahn Monster subs

check out the link.....they have a huge sub that looks like it would make my car fall apart if i get two of them...and run my 2000 watt amp and give each of them 1000 watts at two ohms....or even better get the same exact amp and run 2000 watts each...OMG

i think the only subs that can really compaer to these are the rockford power stage 2 subs...and the Re XXX's

Just curious... what exactly about that driver makes it that good?

because all I see.. is hyped up numbers, used to mislead the less informed...

sadly.. its what makes the Audiobahn empire as big as it is..

A driver that doesn't suffer from an oversaturated motor, that doesn't have an excessively aggressive suspension, and ultra high inductance coils just so they can publish huge power ratings, that isn't bathed in chrome to impress the kiddies, and whose founder gives a shit about the driver's performance, moreso than astethics

that's what I consider a good driver...

oo...u just said whats bad about the driver...im not tryin to get smart with ya...u know alot more than me about drivers and subs..i can see that..i just want some good info on these subs...

so what do u think would compare to these...im sure if i got two they would hit pretty **** hard....even if they are chrome and for the "kiddies"

I wouldn't bet on it if I were you.....

an RE SX / IA LI, would both hand that driver its *** with half the power... box v/s box..

we tested alot of audiobahn stuff up here... then when discovered their drivers couldn't muster anything I'd call decent results.. the killing began.. and god was it fun..

oo...well this was my first system...i got 2 audiobahn 12"S runnin about 750 watts @ 3 ohms with about 500 watts to spare...in a ported box..i love the way it sounds...but i wanna upgrade i dunno what to get....im keepin my amp...

this is one driver where you are wrong. i have had personal experience with 2 of these in a sealed and ported box. the sealed box sounded suprisingly good, the ported box didnt have the greatest SQ but it got really loud (no bullsh*t). I wouldn't pay retail price for these things if my life depended on it (considering that is like 700-900$ each) but if you can get them at ebay prices they aren't too bad at all.
