my audiobahn aw1208t was louder than kicker l7 and sound just as good .they don't like audiobahn because of the chome

well then you really dont know how to build a decent box for an l7, or your idea is sq is really bad.

Immortals can get loud, but they really dont sound very well, I would do what twistid said and get those l7's as long as the amp your friend has actually pushes 1.5k rms

by the way the kicker was in 2.5 cf tuned to 37 hz and the audiobahn was in a 3 cf tuned to 39 hz

i have, twas a very nice install. Bad thing the woofer sounded like poo

And you must have done somthing wrong, the couple l7 setups i heard sounded pretty good, and got loud

True, but l7's have proved themselves time and time again in spl and sq

nope, i hadnt heard an l7 setup till 05 versions came out

now...I happen to work at a shop that sells audiobahn...And from my experience they ****. I have Listened to literally every sub they offer, from the Special Editions to the Linear compressions, to the Imortals. They all sound like ***. And to the guy that said the Audiobahn was loouder than the Kicker...Look at how many competitors at DBdrag finals used audiobahn...how many used kicker?
