audiobahn flame amps

are these amps any good, they look cool i was looking at the a2300HCT or what else can any1 recomend for a powerfull amp

Everybody is going to tell you they **** but I owned an Audiobahn a1300hct for about 3 months. It turned off on me one day because I was maxing it for almost an hour non stop. I ran it at 2ohms.

Just sold it to get a bigger amp.

They are good amps if you have a "show car".

If you want a pretty amp that pumps out sick power look into Kicker, JL, and eD imho.

They make some sexy looking amps that put out nice clean power. Esp eD, I could ******** to the 900.1

a buddy of mine thas that 2300hct amp, it takes up the entire trunk but it has some real power, i say its a good amp and looks really cool with the chrome flames too

Look into the new Alpine line or the new Rockford Fosagte Punch Line(Clean, Simple).

Both look very nice IMO.

I think the audiobahn's are ugly personally.

a friend of mine used to have that amp with two of the 12" flame subs, bahn's flagship model at the time and it was loud and actually sounded descent. But that was the only real system around at the time.

Mine's louder and I have one sub and half of the rated power as him in the trunk of a car, he has an explorer. Mine sounds better too. Get something else.

He had this in a 3 cuft box total that was ported and claimed that he hit 153 decibles with the volume turned up half way. I peed in his coffee the next morning...
