audiobahn amps?

Are there any good audiobahn amps? Chrome aside do the due rated power and sound decent? I was looking at the intake series...

I have had two of these amps, A8002t and the A8000t. They are decent amps, but IMO they dont even do rated power at least it dont sound like it:crap: . They do have pretty good control of sound. I wouldnt buy another though simply because it dosent seem like they give rated power. I had heard somewhere that the A8000t doest even get close to the rated power. Stay away from their subs. Dont make the mistake I made and buy Audiobahn for the looks .

Theres Better for the money...just my 2cents.....u should make a thread and tell what subs and evreything u have and then get sumone to reccomend you an amp...

I've heard too many and experienced too many horror stories to say anything good about audiobahn. Oh wait, I've got one... audiobahn sounds like autobahn and it reminds me of Kraftwerk of which Autobahn is one of my favorite techno songs they did... especially the remixed autobahn of 2003 by DJ Iced. Wicked stuff.

Where was I now... oh yeah, audiobahn... don't buy it.

So what would you guys reccommend for about 400w x2 RMS of power (or whatever is atleast equivalent to what the A8000T puts out..), as my friend offered me $170 for my A8000T and I would definitely not mind swapping for a better amp and getting a couple bucks profit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

However, in my opinion, the A8000T is a decent amp for the money, if you want some decent output, does good enough for my hatchback.

My first subs were 2 12' audiobahn . They pounded but sounded like crap. I gave them to my gf and she loves them. I also had the intake amp 8002t and It was a decent amp. It never got hot .It was rated @ 800rms bridge which is way overated. most it did was probably half of that.

i have the a2300hct high current series not sure if it puts out quite rated power but anywho stay away from the intake series they are rated at 400 watts rms at 4 ohms but i belive when they were tested buy ces or w/e it did like 272 watts at 4 ohms

the audiobahn A8000t was the first amp i ever had for my subs (which were audiobahn as well; i had an all audiobahn setup:uhoh: ). compared to my previous brutus bx500d (which does 500rms at 1ohm) to the a8000t (800rms @2ohm), brutus wins hands down. audiobahn is only 60% effiencent* imo. and the brutus lineup offers just as much functions as audiobahn does on their amps. but shit, hifonics is overrated as well, but not as much. at least they claim 80%+ of their rated power

i would rather take an rockford, alpine, kicker, or even mtx thats rated at 400rms than the A8000t @800rms. because i know the quality amps will produce actual wattage.

why the f*ck would you buy this amp for $400-600 when your gonna use it at 4ohm, for 400rms at 4 ohm you can buy an aamp for 150, if not less

thier rack amps are the only ones ive seen put anywhere near rated power. every other one ive worked with was under performing if not flat out *******.

I have the Audiobahn A4801T 4 channel, which claims 250 watts rms by 4 channels at 4 ohms....I need to power components that need 120 watts rms....Since most of you said that Audiobahn overrates their power, would that amp power my speakers really well????....If it matters, I only paid $225 for the amp.....and can still return it, so let me know if I should or not.
