Audiobahn amps

I currently have the following system:

Alpine CDA-9815 head unit

Alpine MRV-F340 4 channel amp

Boston Acoustics RC520 components in front

Boston Acoustics SL95 6 x 9 in rear

With BA focusing on clarity and mid-range, I would like to pick up on some tight, quick-hitting bass.

I am looking to get a sub in the 300-500 RMS range. Here are the Audiobahn amps of interest to me...

A1801T

A2401T

A8000T

A4002T

Any opinions would be appreciated. My main question is whether there is any benefit with using the A/B Mosfet Amplifiers over the new intake amps? Any recommendations for a sub?

Thanks.

For those prices, you could buy a nicer used amp. Audiobahns will normally do the rated power, but not cleanly and will not give you a "problem free" install.

I am selling a JBL BP600.1, (600w x 1 @ 2 or 2 ohms) Great amp.. $130 shipped. Im sure people on here will reccomend you this over your choices.

ive installed the a8000t and the a4002t. theyr ok, nothin really serious. but like the kid said u could probably do better for the money. im pretty sure that theres no real difference between a/b mofset and class d, other than effeciency and like one or two things but i forget. they would be fine if thats what u wanted to buy, but u wouldnt get as much bass outta the a4002t than the a8000t.
