Yes sir.But take that remote wire loose that comes from the radio first,then do it.Take couple seconds for the amp to turn on..If its Blue/green, then that amp should be fine..It could be the remote wire,or a bad sub

ok well then nothing turns on if both of the RCA's are removed.

Kinda sounds like the only ground your amp is seeing is through the rca shields. Before you destroy something please unhook the rca cables from your amp. Next you need to find a good solid body ground for the ground wire of the amp. I am guessing it isn't doing its job if the amp only attempts to turn on while the rca cables are plugged in. Where do you have the other end of that cable grounded? Can you show us a pic?

Here's a Paint-edited version of what i did with that extra speaker wire. When i did this neither the protection light nor the blue/green light came on. The lights will only come on if the RCA's are in.... Ill pm you about it tomorrow.

Spooney sounds right..It is more than likely gonna be a ground wire..Why we were only testing the 3 wires out..like starting back over on an install without removing the amp..Power/ground/remote.OK talk to you tomorrow on it then.We can walk through it as if installing it from start to finish,and see how it comes out.

Spooney sounds right..It is more than likely gonna be a ground wire..Why we were only testing the 3 wires out..like starting back over on an install without removing the amp..Power/ground/remote.OK talk to you tomorrow on it then.We can walk through it as if installing it from start to finish,and see how it comes out.

yeah. I heard that i should find a good ground where i can get bare metal. I didn't have any self-tapping screws at the time, but now i do so can move it if i need to. View attachment 26540927
