I'm in the market for a new substage and I plan to run a single 12" tuned around 30hz. I'm looking for about 60% and 40% SQ. I'd like to run the single 12" at around 1500rms. How would the US Amps MD-2D work in my set up? There is one for $190 shipped in the classifieds. Is this a dependable amp (and company, for that matter)? Does anyone have any alternatives that would be better, or is this a pretty good deal? Thanks for the help and any input!

You don't need two amps. The speakers come with crossovers to help protect the tweeters.

Perhaps you changed something without mentioning it here? Maybe a loose turn on line? I dunno man...but we'll take it. Hopefully it keeps working. 👍
