i need help here everyone.i just bought one of these amps for 500.00 and was wondering if its any good. i trying to push a kicker solo x 18 and thought this ampmight do.is this amp worth the money?

its a big powerful, ugly amp. worth? that depends on you. I'd say so tho. That's 10cents a watt

i ahve 2 aq 2200d amps now on 2 pioneer premier 5102 12's.sounds good but i keep burning up voice coils and dont wanna keep buying new ones their expensive

set your gains properly and you won't burn up the coils

sell the amp you just bought. Strap the AQ's and run the solo x off of that

i was going to buy another solo x 18 and a5000 and run 2 at 1ohm.i can get it all at a good price

Old thread, lol. It would be a perfect match for a Solo X 18. I ran 4 of these amps on 16 volts to 2 Solo X 18s in competition. Kept blowing the 18s.
