RE is what's popular right now. Like the Hifonics Brutus used to be, only the people that bought them back in the day still aren't having problems. Pretty soon I see IA doing the same thing, I've been planning on 187s for months, and right around the time I get them, everyone else who's getting new setups for new years could be doing the same.
It's good to see, though. I'd rather have this board push RE and IA than something less worthy. Not saying those brands are better than DD, I'm just saying they deserve popularity as much as DD, RF, Kicker, or JL Audio, and they're getting it without advertising. Means they gotta be doin' something right.
