Are the 1800 watt models really worth $40 more than the 1500 models? I kinda need 2 to power 2 opti1535ds and I'm not sure the route I want to take.

This is my ap30001d, but it is burnt up I guess. It says in protect and smells bad. I'm not saying don't get one, just showing guts.
