What do y’all think this thing puts out certified? Specs say 1560 @ 1 ohm but also that it’s “underrated.” Thinking about pulling the trigger on a new one for $240. I’m wanting to be around 2k @ 1 ohm so after rise I can hopefully feed my Icon what it needs (without upgrading electrical).

I have a fsd1600.1. I got mine used in like new condition for a song. It’s okay. I would get an md1800.1 in hindsight.

Wouldn't recommend AL honestly the way they treat their customers. I've had over 10 of their FSD amps.

Refusing to warranty DOA amps, and calling customers liars. My buddies AL8500 blew at 1 ohm with 5 mins of play time and they refused to warranty saying it was run under 1 ohm. Leaving him SOL with a $1800 amp. Had one of my FSD 2600s pop at 1 ohm and they tried telling me it pulled too much amperage due to running under 1 ohm and refused to warranty. I made a big fuss on Facebook and then 6 months later I got my amp back from repair for free and they blocked me.

Damn, sorry to hear that. Well, I won’t be buying that amp then. I like to give smaller companies business but I hate when they blame the consumer right off the bat.

Hmmm Wolfram maybe? I have been very happy with Soundqubed Q series amps. Not the smallest company buttt. I would probably do the US Acoustics Mike if I were wanting a Korean 1500.

I have a Wolfram 3000.1 BNIB so I may just use that and be conservative with the gains. Hell, I may just throw my IA 10.1 on it and see how I like it. I really like the SSA 2200 but $500+ for a Korean 2.5kish is a lot IMO.

I would send it. Yeah I was going to recommend the SSA amps until I looked up the prices again...

Sell the wolfram? Yeah those prices are crazy. Korean 2k’s have jumped in price which is just insane to me.

Oh haha. Yeah I’ll just do that and use the IA in my wife’s 4Runner on an IA LI 12. Thanks for the help!
