I started collecting some audio stuff for my new ride about a month ago and pretty much think I have what I need! This will be my first aftermarket system since the early 80's when I bought a pioneer GMA-200 and a set of Altec Lansing 6x9's LOL Here is what I got, let me know what you think!!
I bought two amps, first a Diamond D3 400, it is used but from a reputable seller 4x50 @4ohm It is still in the mail right now.
Second amp I bought is alittle bigger, its a LA STORM 800.4, puts out a good 100wx4 @ 4ohm it's brand new and on the way!It should fit nice under the rear seat
Kicker 6.2 comps for the front doors of my 2008 GMC Sierra. I also bought some Mach5 audio MLi6.5 midbass speakers for the rear doors, thought that these might sound good back there...not really sure. Probably going to use the Storm amp to run the whole settup, not sure why I bought the diamond amp, the storm should provide all the power I need.
So what do you guys think of my settup, the kicker comps should sound decent, the storm amp has some very good reviews, it seems like a good choice, especially for the money I spent on it. The Mach mli6.5's are highly regarded for the price. Anything else I should be looking at getting?
Any opinions or advice is appreciated!!!
