Hi,

I am looking at upgrading the OEM system in my wife's 1999 VW Polo. I have never done any car audio stuff before, please be forgiving.

Basically I want to upgrade the sound but the car mustn't be too loud. I just want to add/upgrade the quality of the present sound.

I was looking at getting the following:

2 x Kenwood KFC-P707 component speaker system (1 pair will be for the front doors with tweeters in the front; the second pair will be for the rear of the hatch)

I believe the above are drop in speakers.

For an Amp I was looking at something along the lines of a Kenwood KAC-M645 4/3/2 Channel Amplifier.

Is the above workable for a simple set-up?
