Audio...Bling?

been there and done that...ripples are a ***** to get out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif..ill stick to the way i do it now lol...i guess i had to learn the hard way
Two words: block sander. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

And Im not saying you did -anything- wrong man, it looks great. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif I was just pointing out to the other guy that you dont -have- to do fiberglass to get that finish, but you do if you want the complex shapes/surfaces like you used.

no problem //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I just want no part of bondoing one...i help dad in the body shop all the time...i've learned better then to mess with that shit...even with blocking it down with 220/400..not my cup of tea

thats a really nice looking box and you make it look so simple. i think i might give glassing a try after seeing that. it might not be as bad as trying to cut all those angle to fit a box in the back of my s-10. but if its harder than you made it look then im gonna be mad //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

Just takes alot of time figuring out your technique...i'm sure i do mine different then anybody else does theirs...i've gotten away from using just straight fleece and actually doing a skim coat of bondo in between the original layer of fleece and the 2nd layer of material that i got at walmart that is REALLY thin...

It's kind of like a T-shirt material...buck a yard...couldn't beat it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif - It kept me from doing a whole lot of sanding as well...

For the record, I hate sanding bondo too. But if you think that's bad, you should sand that aluminized stuff I used to fill my roof rack holes with. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Its like sanding straight aluminum. lol

The only thing that i can think of that is worse to sand is the old school body work that they used to do with the lead rods and a torch..."Lead Sleds"
