ok, I picked up one of these to run my front stage 3w setup active with one amp. my questions are directed to anyone who's used them. I won't get a chance to even try it out until this weekend. but I read on an ebay auction the xover function isn't run to the internal amp. and that I have to jump wires from the outputs on the xover side of amp to the amp inputs? I thought I also read on another site, you can bypass the xover and just run into the amps ins... so those are contradicting statements.. so I want to know will I need 6 1' jumpers to run it active. or is that off? I think it made sense both ways. I'm almost positive you can bypass the amps xover by hitting just the amp inputs. but I also figured I should be able to run the xover to the amps output without running 6 channels of jumpers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif I suppose I'll know when I hook it up. if the xover side gets signal and the amps outputs don't have power then it isn't using the function on the amps outputs and I do infact need 6 channels of jumpers... and if it does go thru I'll just test on my mid highpass and lowpass and maybe even bandpass to see if I can run it all. DEFINITELY not going to run it 3 way with my tweets hooked up to find out it's full range without jumpers LOL... not interested in blowing tweets really.. sorry for thinking out loud while attempting to seek help..

guess to make it easier to read:

1) does the xover feed thru to the powered outputs of the amp?

2) ~see pic~ since there are only two knobs and there are lines going directly 180 degrees apart, does that mean if I set the xover to 100hz it automatically only runs to 1khz for my bandpassed mid? or does the low control the midbass lowpass and anything between it and my tweet hipass setting (the gap) will be my bandpass setting? I already can tell I can't set my gap with it since it only has 2 knobs

3) can anyone here familiar with these amps pm me?

thanks a bunch! I so want to hook it up NOW because I'm running my 8"s 2 way and they **** on the upper end and seems like there's a rather large gap between them and the 1" tweets LOL.. it's a DLS reference 8" 2 way set WITH the passives. but still just doesn't sound like I want it to or think it should sound.. so I bought some 4" mids to run with them. will be moving the tweets and 4" mids to the a-pillars, this amp does 35x4 and 60x2 so each mid/tweet will get 35rms and each 8" midbass will get 60wrms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I REALLY noticed the gap today and yesterday when I finally poped in some rock stuff and played Evanesense Tourniquet live recording and it sucked big time I could tell the vocals and higher notes too low for the tweets to push with any authority were noticeably quieter than the lower and higher notes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif here's a quick vid I made. running an RF 201s atm to the mids so it's seeing a rated 50wrms ONLY the one mid is hooked up in this vid //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

as you can see it does pretty good on midbass and even goes pretty high with the cymbal hitting... no tweets were hooked up either. just need a little more up high (thus the 4" mid and tweet at a-pillar). I'm actually going to cross it lower to see if it gets cleaner and or more output on the midbass. it's clear. but if it gets clearer I can turn it up more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif makes sense in my head at least LOL

the x over is internal but seperate from the amplifiers inputs, if you want to use the xover then you have to go into the xover the the out from xover to the amplifier inputs. yes with rca's. you can run directly to amplifiers inputs but the xover will not work by doing this.

thanks for all the help //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif can't wait to try it. that sucks about the xover... I may solder some internal jumpers... something I could do at night after work since I can't install it til like saturday and even then, I still need to do some a-pillar pods which will take me a while too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif thanks again!

Does anyone still have a manual for this? I'm having a hard time using this for 2way + sub setting.

Does anyone know if amp input A, B, C, are designated for different xover inputs?
